Any student who is interested in science may become a member. The only requirement for membership is that you make one or more scientific projects during the year. This year the club sponsored a Science Fair where numerous projects were exhibited. COUNTY GOVERNMENT The annual Cornhusker Boys' and Girls’ County Government was held on March 24. The purpose of this day is to educate the participants in the operation of county government. Students were divided into the Nationalist and Federalist parties with Mr. Sims in charge. A primary election was held with the winners speaking at a general assembly. The results of the general election are as follows: Clerk, R. Rezac; Clerk of District Court, tie, S. Anderson, M. Johnson; Registrar of Deeds, R. Aim; Treasurer, C. Hoy; Sheriff, G. Edgar; Assessor, R. Kavan; L. Pearson; Attorney, D. Strauss; Judge, L. Larson; Superintendent of Schools, L. Handler; Supervisors, L. Eads, R. Anderson, P. Peterson, R. Bramble. SPANISH CLUB The Spanish Club is a newly organized club. It was organized for the promotion of the speaking of Spanish, and to create interest in and promote a better understanding of Spanish speaking people and their culture. Members of the club must have had at least one year of Spanish with a grade average of C or above.
