CHIEFTAIN STAFF STUDENT COUNCIL Representatives of each class make up this governing body. The council sponsored the Freshman Mixer Dance. Lester Miller was elected President of the council; Dennis Strauss, Vice-President; and Edna Pieper, Secretary-Treasurer. The staff included editors, artists, reporters, office practice class, mimeo-graphers, and distributors. The staff brought news, sports, gossip, and jokes to the school. Secretary-Treasurer. The group attended the annual Librarians Convention, which was held at York. Eight new members were initiated into the club, which gives it a total of 27.
