The verdant crop of last year blossomed forth and ripened into a likeable and energetic group. They elected as thair officers: president, Ray Wiegert; vice-president, Richard Nelson; secretary. Joyce Ruhr; treasurer, Ruby Vrana; student forum, Mary Ludi and Jerry Peterson. At the beginning of the school year the class plannee! an outing in order to become better acquainted. This was done by means of a picnic and a scavenger hunt which was enjoyed by all. The class produced the play, “School Daze”, on January 21 before the student body. It was a typical scene of the daze of students during school life and was ably portrayed by their characterizations.

These juniors sold refreshments at the football and basketball games to help finance the most important and conclusive activity of the year, the junior-senior prom, which was held on May 6. The Thunderbird princess was revealed at this event. The juniors showed the seniors of 49 a most enjoyable evening.
