Maas Bprnipiharin I wonder what the senior class of Wahama High School would be doing if they were to be put int0 the future. 1et's try it and see what happens. It is now the year 2053 and we find ourselves standing on a rocket runway, Who is that over there talking to the fellow with the space cadet uniform on, it's IOANN WOODRUFF talking to PAUL WASHINGTON Captain of the space cadets. l think we should go downtown to see what is going on. Did you see who that was that just went by, thatwas WARREN EUGENE WEAVER and his wife SHIRLEY WEAVER in their new hopped up rocketmobile called the atomizer , I believe I have seen that girl before, oh yes, I know now, that was LEORA YOUNG, queen of signboards, personally putting up an advertisement, And did you see what it said, it stated that Doc RAY WARD was spec- ializing in false teeth for children three years of age and under, You notice that the sidewalks are made out of sponge rubber, this type was invented by JACK SCITES for people that like to walk in their bare feet, Look who is coming down the sidewalk with two rayguns hanging at his sides, its the ruthless outlaw JACK STEWART and waikmg behind him are his wo body guards WLLFORD SCARBERRY and ARNOLD RoUsH, That girl directing traffic at the intersection is MABEL STEVENS, captain of the womens police forceg it is said she has one of the toughest police forces in the country, Some of her helpers are: OPAL JUNE ROUSH, SUSANNA ROUSH, PAY SHIRLEY, GARNET SHIRLEY, and FRANCES SPROUSE.

The class also had its share of members in the band. They were Susanna Roush, Glen I-larrah, Joe Henry, Carol Ann Roush, Jack Stewart, Jack Scites, Ray Ward, Elaine Sayre, Donna Bumgarner, and Mary Lawrence, The senior class chose as their senior play a hillbilly comedy called Hillbilly Weddin '. It was said to be one of the funniest plays ever presented at Wahama, Included in the cast were Elaine Sayre, Dona Ord, Donna Bumgarner, Mary Lawrence, Elizabeth Click, Io Ann Woodruff, Doris Litton, Margie Johnson, Frank Peyton, Richard Athey, Tom Scally, Jack Scites, Ben Roush, Sammy Roach, and a hillbilly band which included Jack Hesson, George Oliver, Dorwin Clark, Arnold Roush, John Powell, and Lawrence Scarberry, Lois Bumgarner was prompter, At the Junior-Senior Prom Donna Bumgamer was chosen attendant to the queen, The Class of '53 was the first class to make a trip to Washington D. Standing on the corner is one of the governments most valuable employees, ELAINE SAYRE, On foggy nights sne sings so lost aircraft can be guided to safety, The large building on your left is owned by PAUL ROUSH and CAROL ANN ROUSH, lt is a combination sporting goods store and dress shop. Well, well, here comes JOHN POWELL and PATTY ROUSH the dog kennel tycoons, Iohn says he was in it for the money and Patty said she just likes to hear barking dogs, JOHN ROTTGEN owns the large jewelry store on the next block, he bought so many rings for his girl friends that he decided to go into business for himself. CAROL ROACH works for him, but just as a sideline. She is really a professional gambler at the 'Blue Duce , a gambling house owned by BEN ROUSH and SAMMY ROACH, lf we stay until tonight we can go to the opera house, owned by JOHN POLSLEY to see the greatest drama- tical achievement of the year written by FRANK PEYTON, The title of the opera is The DesertRat , a story of a rodent. Some of the principal actors in the opera are: DOROTHY OHLINGER, DONALD NEWELL, PHYLLIS MCDANIEL, DORIS LITTON, and MARGIE JOHNSON, BERNARD HUDSON sells tickets and GERALD JOHNSON sells popcorn, Today they are having the championship ping pong tourney. JOE HENRY is pitted against his most bitter rival, CHARLES HILL, who is known better in his profession as Spike , JACK HESSON an ex-professional football star had to drop out in the semi-finals when DONNA BUMGARNER moved the table and broke his hip, l-le told sportswriter GLEN HARRAH that next year he was going to stick strictly to tiddley winks, MARY LAWRENCE is now managing the only two man baseball team in the nation, DORWIN CLARK and GEORGE OLIVER, They won their four-hundred and thirty-first consecutive ball game yesterday and are predict-
