Ist-Division was led by ENS Leonhardt during WESTPAC 88-89. Ist-Division is responsible for the appearance of The Warship. This is no easy task, but Ist-Division keeps on top of it. to keep her looking sharp. Along with preservation. 1 st-Di vision is responsible for operation of the small boats and rigging the ship for UNREPS and CONREPS. Another important job is their tasking during helo operations.
