One may interpret that the way one takes it. Strictly speaking, it means that Bill Henderson has re- ceived the type of letters awarded for outstanding athletic performances. At Howard Payne College he played football, basketball and baseball, and was captain of his baseball and basketball teams. His name has also graced the rolls of both Texas University and the University of Michigan, and he smiles just as if he had learned something there. Or perhaps that smile may be traced to the satisfaction he has of knowing that he is well-liked in student circles. Mr. Henderson at present is the competent coach of basketball, assis- tant coach of the Tiger gridsters, instructor in Civics, and the proud father of a young son and a younger daughter. Of course he isn't being paid for the paternal position-quite the contrary--but evidently he doesn't care to resign. And so it is, because hir. Henderson has won a deserved place in the hearts of the VVaco High students, because of his indefatigable devotion to his students, and his proteges on the court and gridirong to him the 19134 Senior Classes sincerely dedicate this Daisy Chain Album.
