1988 Rebuilding Year For A-Squad Boys Basketball This was not a good year for our basketball team. The 1-20 record for the year tells us that. Our only win was over Plainview, 56-51. Schurhammer This year’s girls basketball season could be summed up as the one that went into overtime. The girls set a school record for going into overtime four times and lost all of them. Their record or eleven wins and eleven losses was not a true indication of their abilities. The highlights of the season were beating Lake City and placing 2nd in the Winona State Invitational Christmas Tourney. Senior Captain, Jackie Reinhardt, and co-captains, Laurie Schuth and Deb Pfeilsticker, provided the leadership and will be missed next year. Each senior received a trophy for their years of service. Juniors returning include Sue LaVigne, Dawn Mazure, Dede Wallerich, Amber Huntoon, Pam Boe, and JoAnne Davis.
