A-Squad Nets 26 Wins The 1987 VB squad enjoyed a very successful season. The girls progressed well throughout the season, strengthening and sharpening skills and offensive defensive strategies with each match. Losses resulted only from very close match ups with the ever powerful Three-Rivers opponents. WK represented the conference and their loyal fans very well in the District playoffs, advancing to the quarter final round to face the Stewartville Tigers who eventually advanced from the District and represented Region I at the state tournament. WK returns a strong nucleus next seaspn comprised of girls who received a great deal of playing experience during the 1987 season. Look for WK to once again field a powerful and competitive team in 1988. First Row: S. Gander, K. Metzler, S. Stark, S. Kreye, A. Lee Second Row: Coac K. Olson, L. Schuth, T. Passe, D. Mazure, A.
