Graduation 1988 Graduation exercises were once again held in the Wa-basha-Kellogg high school gymnasium. Speeches were given by the class president, Tom Passse; class representative, Lance Holton; valedictorian, Terri Bremer; salu-tatorian, Melanie Greeley; and foreign exchange students, Morton Jensen and Joanne Davis. Lance entertained the audience with an imitation of Mr. Bussian. In the past, only those students who were not graduating got blank diplomas. This year EVERYONE got blank diplomas! Seniors had to pick up their signed diplo after the graduation exercises. That’s one way to get i keep our hats on!!! After the ceremonies, the seniors were treated to ga such as miniature golf, Pictionary, and Wheel of Fort (which Leann cheated at). There were hair and mal demonstrations, Arnold’s Restaurant, and all kind gifts and prizes. Mindy Class won a trip to anywhei the United States! Terri Bremer, Tom Passe, Melanie Greeley, Lance Holton, Joanne Davis, and Morton Jensen at graduation practice. Rita Schmit catching her foot in the printer cord and pulling it off the table. Wimp, next time you’re driving your car, make sure your hood stays down. You can see better that way. Rita’s driver’s tests. The day all the 1987 senior volleyball players ran their mile in under 8 minutes! Not most Friday and Saturday nights! Tom Passe’s night out with all the women but Sandy. Dan throwing away his socks at ValleyFair. BPA trip to the Twin Cities with Ms. Loshek. Parties with all my friends and just having a great time. Going to Red Wing with Brenda Schreiber and getting lost. When the volleyball team choked at region tourneys. The day Carl Holton came to school with a party bag and a 12-pack. Pam stealing Christmas bulbs. My best friend and I found out what the interior of a cop car really looks like. Terri Bremer going to nationals and meeting the lead singer for Aerosmith and his fiance. Cleaning up after the senior party. When playing Spoons, Paul, the idea is to stay on your chair, not on the floor. Getting Doug Klapperic through computer class b letting him copy my work. Walking down the halls of the Marriott seeing Kevin Dunagan Dan Broadwater arm-n-arm with four 40-year old women. All the great conversatior between Mr. Wilkinson an Dan Broadwater. State gymnastics, wrestling trips, and all the good-looking men. The 1987-88 girls basketba! team. It in itself is a hilariou memory. ■ M E M O R I Riding through town in a Limo on Halloween! The last volleyball game of the year. The class of ’88 finally all getting along! Darrell drowning. Trip to Florida. Dan Wagner trying to climb the snow bank with his Jeep. Too bad about the window, Dan. A garage party when my ne car received a few dents an paint chips. Celebrating birthday parties and trying to persuade Mrs. Loshek into having parties when there wasn’t a birthday to celebrate. The alibis that some of the seniors came up with when we wer called into the office about the party the night of the senio banquet.
