One Act Tennessee This year’s one act play was Tennessee. It took place in the late 1800’s in the Ozark Mts. It was about an old woman who found out her whole life had been a lie. It was a dramatic play that touched the heart. The cast tied for 1st place at districts with both Anne Moore and Jason Brelsford receiving acting honors. In region competition, the cast placed 3rd. The band Intruder started off the night from Prom “88.” The night went by quickly, but before it was over Dan Wagner and Shannan Dittrich were crowned king and queen. However, the night wasn’t over yet. After the dance, most of the prom goers attended the after-prom party, where games such as Pictionary and Wheel-of-Fortune were played. Three groups of students participated in a lip sync contest. Jason Brels-ford, John Schjolberg, Tighe Busch, and Jeff Timm won first place with their imitation of Mr. Brownstone by Guns and Roses. It was a night to entertainment, prizes, and fun!
