Two Steps mryn Away m gj ' St (123 days, unless we have a snowday) And that's just what we got this year — A snowday. That's depressing. It's not that we don't like school (stop snickering), it's just that things get to be such a routine especially if you have the same classes in winter as you had in fall. Of course there were those students who took off for sunny California in the middle of the trimester. Others settled for the malls in Rochester or took off a day to catch up on their favorite soaps like All My Children, The Guiding Light, General Hospital. (By the way, someone want to explain to Denny Pfeilsticker why Dove can't be his favorite soap?!?) The monotony was broken on Valentine's Day when Ron Schurhammer and Lisa Allen came to school wearing red lipstick and sheets. Even Cupid was embarrassed (although Ron never looked better)! With wrestling, gymnastics, and basketball, there were plenty of things to do after school. And when school events weren't scheduled, we caught our favorite TV shows like Riptide, Murder She Wrote, Miami Vice, and the Nightly News (Ron Merckling's favorite.) Thursday nights were reserved for Knots Landing. How did we ever get our homework done???

Mr. Sanders said that although the team had a nber of good wrestlers, the lack of participants in the 98,105, and 112 weight classes and injuries to some of our best stlers, kept us from having an excellent season. There were a number of individuals who placed in tournaments. Jon ' hards took 1st in all tournaments as well as in districts. Ron Wallerich also placed 1st in the Lewiston tournament. mok, J.
