They then traveled to Stewart-ville for the concert. The concert was a success, and the All-Star members had lots of fun doing it. 39 Homecoming Candidates: J. Marx. K. Theisman, A. Hickey, R. Vaplon, C. Madison. T. Wills. J. Joslyn, R. Gustafson, S. Pfeilsticker, J. Wolf, N. Huth, C. Funk Homecoming week began with five days of masquerading around school in different outfits each day. Rob Sill and Jill Breuer dressed up for Punk Day (5) while Brian Sharpe showed us his legs on Toga Day (8). On Wednesday, students voted for their favorites and learned the results at the coronation (1) Thursday night. Entertainment was provided that night by the new rock band, “The Zombies,” featuring Brian Sharpe, Scott Lamey, Matt Mayo, and Sean Carr (2). Paul Mathias showed us how well he had Jane Marx, Deb Evers, Julie Bremer, Connie Madison, and Sue Sobeck trained. (3) On Friday afternoon, we had our first powder-puff football game (6). Even though it started to rain during the game, it was a big success. We will never forget the moment John Meyer delivered the pie to Mr. Smith, during the half-time (7). The new W-K cheerleaders (R. Vaplon, M. Loretz, C. Funk, and L. Hanson) wondered what cheer to do first (9). Cueen Sandy Pfeilsticker and King Rick Vaplon reigned over Friday’s close football game and the dance on Saturday night. (4) Charley’s Aunt S. Boland, J. Mundy, J. OFIaherty, S. Lamey, L. Bayer, P, Mathias Charley’s Aunt was sponsored by the River Junctions Art Council because of the school’s lack of funds. Charley’s Aunt was a comical farce in which a man dressed up as a woman named Donna Lucia D’Alvadorez and impersonated her. Amy Spettigue and Kitty Verdun agreed to go out with Charley and Jack Chesney as long as Charley’s Aunt accompanied them. But when Charley's Aunt sent a letter saying that se would not be able to make it, the guys got nervous and had Lord Fancourt Babberley become Donna Lucia and the fun began. The confusion ended with everyone getting their true identities shown and everyone falling in love and marrying. Cast Stephen Spettigue ................... Most of all we had fun all we needed to add to the team were two huge gorillas to stop the opposing team.” Coach Fredrickson remarked, “If it wasn't for bad luck we would have had no luck at all!
