xecutive epartment This department is made up of YN's, PN's, and PC's. The Yeomen KYND are in charge of officers' records and executive correspondence. Every day they are tasked with putting out a Plan of the Day CPODD. The Personnel men CPNJ work in the Personnel Office. These men are in charge of keeping the records of all enlisted men up to date. This office handles leave papers, TAD orders, and a million other items. You can find this department by looking for people up to their necks in paperwork. The Chaplain's RP iReligious Program Specialistl is also attached to the Admin Depart- ment. Besides their administrative functions these sailors are phone talkers during unreps and vertreps. perations Department The Operations Department is made up of OE, OW, OM, Ol, and OC divisions. OE division is manned by ET's. The Electronic Technicians repair, and maintain both the communications and the navigational equipment. OW division is manned by Electronic Warfare Specialists. The EW's operate and maintain WABASH's SLQ 32 equipment. ln OM division we have both Eire Technicians CFTMJ for the maintenance of our Sea Sparrow Missle System and Fire Technicians CFTGD who operate and maintain our Close In Weapon's System. The OS's lOperation's Specialistsl man Ol Division. Ol Division, working in CIC, collects and dessiminates essential information of an operational nature. In OC Division WABASH has the Radio Men lRM'sD and the Signalman KSM or Sigs 7. Obviously, the RM's operate all radio gear. The SM's are in charge of all visual communication devices which include flags, semifores, and lights. 'k 'f L 8' Electronics . . .
