First Semester Student Council Dear Students. The hrst semester council set out on its term ot' ofhce with two dehnite goals in mind. The hrst project was to establish a student court which would make the student body conscious of its responsibility toward self-goyermnent. The second goal was to develop new rules for ASB elections based upon national election procedures. This allorded the students greater participation in student government and a bet- ter understandinu of state and national politics. The hrst semester council wishes to thank the student body, administration. faculty. and Klr. Brostrom. the council advisor. for all the help they haye Qiyen us during our term of ol- fice. Without the cooperation of the student body. none of the Qoals could have been ae- complished. and this Council would like to be the first to congratulate you on this wonderful accomplishment toward making our school a better place in which to obtain an education.
