MEMORY OF BONT F. TULBERT Bont F. Buzz Tulbert was a man well loved by all those who knew him. Unfortunately, on August 18, 1980, his life was lost in a tragic automobile accident leaving family, friends, and Brother Rats of ' 78 in dismal grief. Bont ' s presence was characterized by a radiated warmth of wit, humor, and charm, and yet, a conveyance of deepest sincerity. His outstanding personality, immeasureable determination, and dedication to the concerns of his fellow man made him the exceptional human being that he was. We will miss Bont and we shall cherish the fruitful memories of his life which he so graciously shared with us. John Haithcock Fletcher Thompson 1981 Dykes

The Class of 1981 would like to dedicate this edition of the Bomb to Captain Harold A. Willcockson, Deputy Commandant of VMI. Captain Willcockson came to VMI in 1977 after serving over tv enty-eight years in the United States Army. A summary of all the accomplishments that mark this distin- guished career, which spanned nearly three decades and two wars, would be innappro- priate here since the space provided would in no way be adequate. Much has been wri- ten about leadership by example. This being the case every cadet can profit by the exam- ple, of this sincere and dedicated man. Thank-you Captain Willcockson for caring enough to give your very best . . . CPTH. A. WILLCOCKSON DEPUTf COMMAHOAin
