The first buildings were replaced by a larger frame structure in 1901. A modern brick structure later replaced it. The school session of 1910 opened with an enrollment of 160 in eleven grades, with seven teachers in charge. The school was improved in 1914 by the construction of a new brick elementary school building. In 1917 a high school building was erected which now contains the office, cafeteria and other classrooms. The present high school building was constructed in 1948. Vinton High School now has an enroll- ment of approximately 783 under the guid- ance of a well-trained faculty led by W. A. Hanna. High School Building. tnacrtfaitt Mfl c£ooC. J. W.
