The Future Teachers of America Club is a forward looking organization made up of young men and women who have chosen teaching as their future profession. Cadets, Future Teacher members, actually assist the regular teachers in the various grade schools throughout the city of Vincennes. In this manner the Cadets receive invaluable exper- ience for their chosen field. By actually taking part in the classroom activities it enables the members to visualize the advan- tages and disadvantages of teaching. The purpose of Future Homemakers is to develop mature thinking tastes and skills of home- making. With the modem Home Economics de- partment Lincoln High School has, the girls are given an opportunity to practice their ability. The officers are Joyce George. Are Studied With Interest The Future Nurses is a newly organized club in Lincoln High School. It is for the junior and senior girls who are inter- ested in becoming nurses or laboratory technicians. To learn more about nurs- ing and their future profession, the girls have visited the different laboratories of the hospital.
