Talents Are Developed In the spring, persons with a specified number of lines and points of recommendation are initi- ated into the National Thespian Society, Troup No. 548. Each of these Thespians has also been required to do committee work as well as help with the stage. The scholastic achievements of these outstanding students must be near the top. The Boosters club, under the direction of Miss Helen Polk, helps with many varied activities throughout the school year. They plan rousing pep sessions with skits, serve as guides during Open House, help in the book store, and organize the cheer block for the basketball games. Their main goal is to raise and maintain the school spirit by boosting the teams at games and in the tournament. The forty students selected for membership are thought to be people who will best endeavor to build enthusiasm among the student body. 23
