Religious education received at Villanova imparts to each student a firm foundation in the tenets of his Faith, something which will serve him in very good stead when he leaves the sheltering walls of his Alma Mater. No member of the Faculty induces anyone to feel that practices such as daily Mass and Communion or Stations of the Cross are a must They attempt to instill in all the love of God freely from the heart, and not strictly as an observance of rule or regula- tion, The real reason for their presence is to make Catholic gentlemen out of every Villanovan so that he may face Worldly desires with the singular ad- vantage of Christian philosophy. ln effect, many graces have been afforded to us because the priests on the Faculty have been earnest and zealous in dispensing the spiritual values in life.
