Homecoming Week Is A Big Yes Everyone was in the spirit of Homecoming 'll . Our VHS Cheerleaders made up some zany, crazy, spirit-raising days. There was Cartoon Day, Future Shock Day, Animal Day, Frizz Out, Grease Back, Make-up Day, and the traditional Blue and Gold Day. Juniors won class sign for the third year in a row. They also won hall decorations, with their theme being, Logger Wars, adapted from the movie, Star Wars. Seniors won the skit and class competition for the week. Their theme, As Elvis Was a Legend in His Time, So Are the Loggers. Throughout all the activities, VHS showed a tremendous spirit. 16 Homecoming

The J.V. squad had a spectacular season this year. They allowed few teams to score on their fine defense, as you can tell by the scores. Their fine sweeping attack was the main factor to their victories over their opponents, many of which were A A schools. This shows the fine quality that will be on our football team next year. This is Coach McKee's second time with an undefeated record. We are sure our J.V. players were taught many skills which will lead them to many victories in the future. 1. Coach McKee watches his team practice. 2. Dean Johnston comes to the aid of an injured logger. 3. Quarterback Johnston calls the signals. 4. Team Players.
