Football This year the Vemonia Loggers had a 1-6-2 win, loss, tie record. The Loggers were outclassed in many games, but played with such spirit and dedication that the outcome of each game was not determined until that final gun. Coaches Crowston and Young discuss plans for game with Hood River. The lone Logger victory came against Hood River when the Dragons were refused a score in the final moments of the game. Jerry Hanson, end, was the only Logger to make the A11-League team. Fred Smith, Roger Medges, Larry Holsey, and Bob Wood received honorable mention. Jerry was also picked as an alternate for the Shrine game, and was also selected to honorable mention on All-State A-2 ratings. Joe Curl scores against Neah-kah-nie 23
