S. forty- six green Freshmen. The sophomores made us feel and look uncomfortab- ly out of place, for which we vowed revenge. But this year, '27-'28, we entered V. H. S., forty-two dignified sophomores, and made good our threat of vengeance on this year's freshmen. We ended the freshmen initiation by inviting them to a party at which we are sure they enjoyed themselves. Our class officers are: Glen Hieber, president, Neal Bush, vice-presi- dent, Violet Phelps, secretary-treasurer: and Kenneth Price, sergeant at arms. Miss Malmsten is our class advisor. We claim to be a progressive class, and we boast the following honor pupils: Catherine Hoffman, Dwight Strong, Violet Phelps, Alberta De- Roch. Marjory Kelly, and William Culver, We have studied hard and industriously, and aim to make a noble junior class. Page Nineteen
