HALLIE HARIE KOONTZ There's a light o' good nature and friendliness that shines from her eyes which im ediately draws you to her. She possesses a mild and maidenly manner--a girl everyone likes. EDDIE LOU KREBS Eddie is composed, re- fined, gentle, and has the trait of offering help when it is most needed. She would make a good advertisement for hair nets, 'cause you never saw her with a lock out of place. GUY LAMAR Here's the Guy with that tantalizing black wavy hair. He likes best to bowl and hunt, but we like him. HARGUERITE LAYNE Do you know Maggie? Well, of course, every- one does. She is full of something that never runs down--just a nat- ural. 5 BRYANT MCDONALD Bryant has been an outstanding band mem- ber in V.H.S. for several years, and is an excellent student. He is destined to be- come an expert avia- tor. JACKIE MAYFIELD Look who's next! It's none other than HWhat-a- mann Mayfield. He may not look like the stu- dious type, but he has enough in his cerebrum to attain the honor of being a member of the Honor Society. RUTH MATHIS Ruth strives very har in her school work. She is allergic to in toxicated people and has an unequal love for hamburgers--has been a very active band member. J. B. JACKSON J.B. is a student who will accomplish what he has set out to do--to be a good architect. He shoulders his re- sponsibilities with a' smile and makes friends out of enemies. IREBA JOHNSON Ireba is the sort of person that makes one say to his neighbor, nWe'd sure like to know her bettern. The evidence is strong that she is a Hdarling one of the few girls whose dimples are not deeper than her brain. AUBREY JORDAN Better known as nLit- tle Audn to his many friends. He is one who can think of a comeback for all cracks, whether ser- ious or in Jest--is seen about town in a cute little stripdown. CAROLINE KARCHER Caroline is a serious little lady, but then an education is some- thing to be serious about. If you don't know how something is done, ask Caroline, she does. JAMES KING Is there a doctor in the crowd? Oops! Sorry! We overlooked the best one to be-- Jimmie. He supports his own ideas and gets a lot of pleasure in argu-fying you into accepting his views. JANIE KING Janie never meets a stranger, and with her frank feeling of com- radeship and a laugh Kthat is as contagious as chickenpoxl she has made herself one of the mostnlikeablesn in all V.H.S. DOROTHY KNIGHT nDudieN Knight may be little, but she does not go unnoticed in a crowd. She has been dubbed by friends as the Nmighty moleculen.

VERNA IOORE Petty used models, n Verna would be nfully employed. is the type of 1 men toast and ls roast--but we adore her. NELL NIXON is one of the most students in our known for her and grand . The rain this twin--for her isn't that kind. JAYNE IULANAX This is one little girl whose middle name could well be NFriendlinessN. Her wonderful sense of humor has brought cheer to many hearts in V.H.S DELL NIXON NED OIENS He has gained as many friends in one day as most of us have in four years. By his witty comments you are con- vulsed with laughter on the most solemn oc- casions. Ned's made of the right stuff. JO ANN PERRY Here's a little red- head who doesn't act a bit like one--has a host of friends as a result. If you have seen any of Jo's art work, you know she will realize her ambi- tion by going far in the commercial art field. Nsinging for her suppern seems to he her favorite pastime--she is that nightingale of the Sr. Class. Truly she is a credit to V.H.S. She is one of those talented Nixon twins. HARTHA JANE OWENS lartha has blue eyes, dim- ples, and a complexion Cleopatra would envy-- also a long list of dis- likes which include nDe- tention Hallu and being a member of the NTen 0'clock Scholar Cluhu. CLOIS PKIPPS Lonesome Cbecause his girl friend lives else where! Clois is a strong believer in the philosophy that every- thing works out for the best. LAWRENCE PLUI ER If silence is golden, Lawrence is worth his weight in gold. He is a large leaf on the tree of knowledge-- in fact he's the ber- ries.
