The class of '44 wishes to dedicate this annual to all those of
their class who are serving in the Armed Forces.
S E N I 0 R C L A S S
Although the class was as large as usual there were a great many
not able to be here to receive their diplomas. By May 21, five were in
the Army, Navy and Air Corps.
Officers for the class are President, Charles Andersong Vice-pres-
ident, Jo Paytong Secretary-treasurer, Marge Wagnerg and Student Council
representatives, Harley Boline and Evelyn Jacobsen. The advisors were
Mr. Barstow and Mrs. Sedgwick.
The class this year put on a very successful Hickvilleg sponsored
the Junior-Senior Promg and published the 'Tanager'.
The superior scholastic work of this class is evidenced by the fact
that eight of the students who took the first scholarship test at the
University of South Dakota were eligible for the second. Those reaching
this rank were Virginia Bauman, Pat Frankenfeld, Peg Barton, Charles
Anderson, Jerry Fraser, Franklin Papin, Bill Ufford, and Warren Harris.
