Lester Lindstrom, Jim jorgenson, Manford Brown, Tom Kaltsulas, Dale Nelson, Art Erickson, Miss Erickson The boys' glee club composed of 24 members has appeared at several performances during the year showing an increase in quantity and improvement in quality over previous years. The boys in the sextet did excellent work throughout the year and won a Division I rating at the sub-regional contest. GIRLS' GLEE CLUB Marjorie Erickson, Peggy Cadwell, Marilyn Heikes, Gail Chaney, Ruth Danielson, Katherine Simons, Dorothy Dunlap, Myrtle Christopherson, Jean Sammelson,Marjorie Ann Churchill. Rita Swisher, Shirley Benson, Marlys Hult, Avis Lind, Patsy Hasik, Florence Jacobsen, Helen Armstrong, Joyce Davis, Katnleen Brick, Anne Helstrom Margaret Walz, Bernice Millett, Barbara Brookman, Alice Johnson, Alda Nelson, Patty Frankenfeld, Rosabell Wilson, Gayle Hofstad, Norma Jean Hendricks, Miss Erickson The girls' glee club appeared at the concert given in October and also at the one given in April. This organization was also required to reduce its original membership of 45 to 30 in order to enter the contest. The six girls who compose the sextet have put in many hours of practice this year for which they were R rewarded when they received a superior rating at the sub- regional contest. Lucy Slowey For the second consecutive year, Vermillion High School has had a drill team. This year there were thirty-six members. The squad performed at five games with three different drills. The last drill was a flag drill which was well received by the crowd. Both Junior and Senior High students made up the squad.
