l D l 5 Guide to West Campus Page seventeen INTRODUCTION gf ITUATED as it is, on 5 the city's western bor- 'P? i? der, the West Campus offers to tourists attrac- tions equalled nowhere else in the world. The scenery is beauty itself. The air is healthy, though indolent, especially in winter. On clear days one can see over ninety-three million miles-all the Way to the sun. ' Keeping your eyes to the right, in the background you see the homes of the working men, West Side Row. There are six houses, each containing eight rooms. 6X8:54. Three of the rooms are inhabited. Let us proceed. Still on your right, back in some trees, you see a building that is occupied by Foxy Grand- pa McGill, the greatest musician on the campus-on a pianola. The noise you hear is the music. KISSAM I-IALL. Keeping straight on ahead, you pass Kissam Hall on your right and College Hall on your left. Look to the right. That little concrete do-funny is the saloon. Make a side trip and get a drink. You will note two brass plugs in the baseg step on one,-if it's
