Glrl's Volleyball - Nme for challenge Under the guidance of Coach Willis, our girls met the challenge of their opponents. 'll-eLI.eam5aLn.l:k. -andilelsermination led the Devilettes to State, Our girls are strong and musfbe dedicated if they are to successfully overcome the challenges. Our team would be incomplete without any one of the members. Each player has her own ability which she contributes for the benefit of the team effort. Our Volleyball Team had a very successful season placing second in the B-East Tournament. At the end of the season, they ended with a record of 6-6. :g c , 1 , 3 l ff,, Karla gave an outstanding performance during the Safford Invitational, and made the All-Tourna- ment Team. Karla's performance was even more outstanding in the B-East Tournament as she gained the place upon the All-Conference First Team. Rosa showed expertise in her skills which placed her on the All-Conference Second Team for the second year in a row. The Devilettes proved once again, they could overcome the challenges. With their new coach, Mrs. Sheppard, they show high promises for the future. Having great determination they are well on their way to varsity.
