Time 1982 is dedicated to the graduation class of 1982 and to a teacher who means very much to students at Valley Union. He has served fifteen years teaching history, government, and Free Enterprise. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he has given his time freely and enthusiastically to many student activities such as student council and athletics and has helped students achieve a successful and satisfying high school experience. This dedicated teacher grew up in Radium, Kansas, and attended Radium Rural High School. Later he attended Fort Hays College, Kansas, and earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees from this institution. The students at Valley Union High School express their appreciation to Mr. ROBERT L. HIEBERT and extend their best wishes for a continued career as rewarding as the past fifteen years' experience has been. ROBERT L. They can feel them- selves getting hoarse every time they recall trying to out-yell the senior class in a competition cheer. The most important memory of their junior years was the feeling of belonging to a class who worked hard to put on the best prom. And now having completed their junior year, they can look forward with anticipation to the time when they will set foot in Valley Union High School as the paceset- ters for the entire student body as the senior class. They have learned to work together as a class and to make a success of their endeavors by selling food and snacks at home games and by sponsoring a Halloween dance. They gained new and valuable experiences which will help them in the near future as juniors. if .. 9. .xx .M 1- U 1 Cl tb , M H55 ggme A V. Az,Eg ,.,.,,V M ..,, All g f 'gf ' ' 1321 , N Ein.
