for Homecoming Court A Natural High was the theme for VaIIay's 20th annual Homecoming. The beauty of the court was shown before the school in an afternoon assembly on November 8, with Peter Hobart and Jean Sargent presiding as Master and Mistress of Ceremony, respectively. The game was that evening at Milne Stadium against Del Norte. Due to the downpour of rain, the court was presented a week later before the Cibola game. The dance was held November 9 at the Convention Center with about 175 couples attending. Brown Sugar was the band that supplied the entertainment. 29

As Football games, cross-country meets, and pep assemblies took up most fall activities with a number of bake sales, a crazy socks contest and Indian fry bread sale scattered throughout the season.
