I his year at Valley a wide variety ol' classes were offered in the Home Ec Department. Two classes this year were taught by Ieanne Dabney: HERO I and II. The students of both two-hour classes, and were career oriented. The students of HERO Il were offered a job after completing the two-hour course. Five new classes were offered to better prepare the student for the world outside. They were Foods I and II, Clothes I and II, Hobby Stitchery. Interior Design, and I-Iuman Development. During the Christmas season HERO I learned how to make Christ- mas decorations such as wreaths, corsages and other decorative items. During the entire year. they also took many orders for wedding cakes which were sold throughout the city.
