Honors Go to Vikings Seniors Judy Taylor, John Vickers, Sylvia Yocum, Mike Lowry, and Pat Airy proudly display the first place team trophy they cap- tured at the State Discussion Tournament held in Santa Fe, New Mexico October 18, 1963. Mike Lowry, Jan Cloughley, and Pat Legant were this year ' s National Merit finalists. Not only did all three have high scores, but Mike Lowry had the highest score in the state accumulating 158 total points. Boleslo Romero receives his certificate of merit for placing highest in his class at the National Science Foundation Summer Insti- tute in Biophysical Chemistry at Highlands University.
