Valley High Black Knights, who excelled both offensively and defensively, copped their second consecutive W.M.I. soccer crown. The Black Knights scored victories without defeat. Valley has yet to lose a home game, having won all nine starts at home. Coach Johnny Meyers commented, This was the best team I have ever coached. Instead of trying to be all high scorer, they used teamwork. Players making the first string All-Star team were: Richard Waddell, Bob Mundeno, Jim Wilson, and Randall Brown. Players making the second team were: Ellsworth Russell, Bill Richmond, Everett Spiker, Bob Robert son, and Jack Mongold. THE SCORES LEAGUE STANDING VALLEY SCORE OPPONENT SCORE W L Total Points 5 Mt.
