PART TWO WINTER ACTIVITIES Pyle: These pictures are from a mock wedding held by our Family Relations Class. The happy couple was Sandy Schmidt and John Findel. Zorphus: A wedding? You mean the actual formality which a couple goes through to begin the institution of marriage? Pyle: Yep, and it was quite authentic, right down to the musical entertainment and weeping spectators. Zulini: They look most stunning in their formal regalia. Pyle: If you want to see some hne clothing, take a look at our Christmas Dance. Our students really got dressed up for this wondrous event in downtown San Diego. Zulini: I don't think my optical scanners have ever observed such a large variety of slickly dressed Comrades! Pyle: Next my friends, I would like to show you the float, one of our proudest achievements this year. It was entered in the lVlother Goose Parade under the theme of llPeter, Peter Pumpkin Eater . Zulini: It appears to be a beautifully designed structure, Comrade Pyle, butI am compelled to question you about this celebrated festivity. Is it customary for all institutions to adorn these structures in a colorful array of blossoms for the sole worship of this giant waterfowl, lVlother Goose? Pyle: Actually, it's a parade. lVlany bands and floats get together and move in a straight line through the center of beautiful downtown EI Cajon. Zulini: Who are those proletariats engaged in various forms of colloquy and tete-a-tete? They appear most lucid and calm. Pyle: Then they must be very good actors and actresses! You see, those are students participating in Play it Again, Sam , the Enterprise's first production of the year. Zulini: You mean they are merely simulating every-day life for the diversion of others? Pyle: That's right. Zorphus: What a fascinating activity!
