QLAS9 PRQIDI IELV I arr1ved at Valentrne and was met at the statton by Mayor Rosemary Bnttler and was rushed to a banquet IH my honor Mr Frank G Carver Presldent of Mrd West Hereford Breeders Assoc1at1on was master of ceremonles I found Valentme IH a state of IQJOICIUQ over the1r recent vrctory ln the tourna ment wh1ch was credlted to the1r great coach Nerl Thompson I was surprrsed to fmd Robert Epke Presrdent of the Frrst Natlonal Bank wr1t1ng love sonnets to Patrrcra WISQ who was h1s prxvate secretary I v1s1ted the surroundrng commumty and found Mrs Rrchard Green the former Harrret Tate and h r seven curly headed l1ttle Greens I found the leadmg lady socrahtes were Els1e Shelbourne and Ines Soles I V1S1l9d the old 1nst1tut1on of learnmg and found Mary Catherlne Foster PTIHCIDCII and B1ll Mrller Superxntendent of Valentrne Schools I chartered a plane and flew to Denver where I met Vada Nlcol She mformed me of her new success drscovermg the cause of the common cold She told me that 1t was a germll I bought a Denver Post and was amazed to fmd that Elarne Reed was the edrtor Whrle walkmg down the street one day I met Albert Ioseph who mformed me he was the c1ty s leadrng physlclan and On the trarn from Denver to Seattle I encountered Dons Camm sales woman who proceeded to sell me a super duper de luxe speedrer trrcycle On arr1val rn Seattle I attended the Stork Club and was entertatned by the famous fan dancer Amor Quenta M1a translated as Betty Bonge I was led to a rmgslde seat by the proprletor Elsre Carrler I also passed a b1g shrp yard owned by Erma Monroe Todd and Roberta Harms I lourneyed down to Los Angeles on the crurser LSXMFT whose captarn was Velma Sherman Whrle 1n Los Angeles I v1s1ted The Garden of Eden starr1ng that sweet lovely gracrous Norma Smlth Durlng my stay ID Los Angeles my pet poodle took very 1ll and I took h1m to a very relxable veterrnary who turned out to be Lyle Lower CBy the way the poodle dredl On my way to San D1ego I depos1ted my good frlend Burton Hutchlson ct Alcatraz he was to become the new warden I stopped rn at the San Dxego General Hosprtal to lnspect the1r new equlpment and was surprrsed to fmd Arleen Montgomery the head nurse She told me that our old frrend Darrell Mundorf a bullf1ghter at Tuuana was Just across the bord r After collect ng the foregomg materral I returned to New York and prepared to pubhsh my book DO YOU REMEMBER?
