Several very small daily classes were directed hy Mrs. Arnold heeause of the full programs carried hy most of the students. A group of five girls and two hoys appeared several times during the year. 80 1 I With the launching of the Valencian last july first, A the Sea Scouts, under Skipper Hal Polley, started the ' year hy adding four new memhers: Houghton, Achey, xy! ' Hennessey and Updyke. During Thanksgiving vacation, I Uv K at the annual Sea Scout Rendezvous, they placed first 7 if 'Nl' ' in Ship Inspection and received an E award for excellence N' ' 1 lx ' in all competitive events.
