As assistant comp- troller for many years, he gave us our money when we needed it, but, with our money, he gave us much more. He gave us cheer when we were home- sick, advice when we were worried, sympathy when we were sad, and above all else, he gave everyone the sweetest smile that has ever been-one that we shall remember always as being typical of Mr. Moore. We feel certain that somewhere, Mr. Moore has been to the Great Treasurer and found that his account has been paid in full. . ,Jiri ,1 +-+1541 -1 ft "2""'7,.Xf1--f'T"' X. ff ,V .tw-f't'fT1f4 +A- ' 11.11 Mfiflvtzde-1+ 1,+ +'ffH'7yMx f+ +'1' -z,4-4-'Vit , . 1 f 4 7 5- ff ' 3tf+'v" f' .flex WJ, 1 1 Qi a at 4.5,-'irq' A4 . -if " 01 1, K . Senior C1444 . . . 1952 When we find ourselves ordering invitations and .1 g . V . H . . lfyll g to raise money and saying our last Flrellght -ing Servieeeour last May Dayi' we suddenly awake with a start and realize that we are Seniors. Not so long ago. we felt that we were undoubtedly the low- est form of human life-freshmen in college. Now after four of our happiest years we know it's about that time to bid farewell to the life we loved the most and go on to take our places in the biggest show on earth. Y e Our Senior year was one of hard work and happiness. We sponsored dances and our carnival. we sold Christmas cards, stationery and magazines and saved all our pennies in order to have a last fling at the end of school. ln all of our activities, we tried to set good examples. as Seniors should, but somehow, we could not be dignified when we knew that never again would we have the chance to be footloose and fancy-free. We hope through our work and play, that we have set good examples and to you who will take our place. may your reign as Seniors be as happy as ours has been. FRED S. BONNER Valdosta, Ca. Secretary- reusurerg arrle 'owe univr Clam . . . 1952 ,luniors at last! We found that the great sensation of being in Senior College passed too swiftly away. Being a junior eertainly did not mean we Could slack up on studyingeit meant studying and living up to our new status ol being dignified Juniors. Our dance. "The Magnolia Room." with its repeat performance was even more spectacular this year than last. The ever present subject of sponsoring Junior-Senior Frolies was a booster to accumulate funds. The way was rugged but our journey was Completed. The fun. the gaiety. and the almost sadness of the wonderful weekend. our first Junior- Senior Frolies, was immensely successful. Our Junior year is now over, and we look back upon it as a year in which we acquired a broader outlook on life and one in which we enjoyed life to the fullest with all the prospects of an even great- er future to come. Next year we will be Seniors. and somehow we feel that. if it is a better year for us, it will have to be an extraordinary good one.
