“Get Up and Go” 1s marked SUCCESS. The marked success of its first comedy inspired the Music Department to continue suchproductions. Thus, in November, 1970, the choral and band students presented ''Get Up and Go. ' Gradually the cast unraveled the story of staid life in boys' and girls' schools. However, propelled by the sly maneuvering of public relations man, Uncle Chester, romance blos- somed between the authoritative head- master and the straitlacedschool mis- tress, finally opening the door between the schools, merging the two, forming a coeducational house of learning. Indignant Abigal glowers while Uncle Chester sputters an evasive explan- ation for photographing her with Oscar. b Playing hooky can be fun declares this Soda Shop Quartet as they sing for a hot fudge, double dip, Seren 5 ga! Meet Your Teacher Night lures parents. Parents were invited to view school facilities and to meet the teachers on Thursday even- ing, October 8, 1970. After a cordial welcome by Vaiden Whitley Principal Mr. Dail, Student Council Officers di- rected guests to the various areas of the building where they conversed with faculty mem- bers and observed equipment used and work done by students in the classroom.
