Whitley Warriors thrilled alumni and students as they matched North Johnston Panthers! speed until the final tragic moments of the Homecoming game on Friday, November 6, 1970. Equally great were the intricate drills executed at halftime by the Marching Warriors and the deft twirls of fiery batons by the Majorettes. This magnif- icent display was followed by the crowning of stunning Vicki Chamblee, Miss Vaiden Whitley, and radiant Patricia Debnam, Maid of Honor. The celebrities de- parted on the sparkling blue and white senior float. Music by the Dynamic Upsetters at the Student Council spon- sored dance terminated the activities of a memorable evening.
