Commencement speakers challenge Semors. On Sunday afternoon, May 31, 1970, the Reverend Albert Fisher, Goldsboro District Superintendent of the United Methodist Church, challenged the Seniors to take full advantage of their own personal uniqueness and, using this, to make their greatest pos- sible contribution to mankind. Preceding the message, the Vocal Ensemble sang © Mag- num Mysterium and Call to Remem- brance. ” Mr. Charles Dunn, Director of the State Bureau of Investigation, addressed the Senior Class on Monday evening, June 1. Urging the members to look upon graduation Waste preparation, he encouraged them to utilize the knowledge they have gained to make this a better world. Special music was rendered by the Whitley Chorus and Band under the direction of Mr. Charles Burt. Following the presentation of the Senior Class by Mr. Stan- ley Dail, Principal; Mr. C. Sidney Williams, Chairman of the Advisory Council, presented diplomas to the one hundred and seventy- nine graduates.
