Prom couples revive “Roaring Twenties.” A '22 Pontiac, gay flappers, silent films, and home- made bathtub gin transposed Juniors, Seniors, and their guests on April 18, 1970, to 'The Roaring Twenties world. Spotlighted, mirrored balls created hundreds of stars dramatically lighting 'Gym Whitley's Speakeasy, where couples danced to the rhythmic strains of the City Councilmen. The summit performance of the evening was the in- troduction of Outstanding Seniors, Class Officers, and Prom Committee Chairmen who, moving to the tune of Bonnie and Clyde, gracefully fashioned the figures seventy and twenty. To conclude the entertainment, sophomore waiters and waitresses competed for applause in a rousing interpretation of the Charleston. Clasped hands, orchids, and candlelight clinch a memorable evening for Prom Juniors, Marshall Baker and Robin Stell. A moment from the Twenties becomes a modern-day reality for four flippant flappers. Appropriately attired class leaders gallantly respond as they are intro- duced. The City Councilmen update the Roaring 20's with their vibrant refrain. Sporting immaculate tucks and flowing formals, couples interpret those 1970 tunes.

Senior Week highlights art of giving. RG ei. Relaxing in the cool, senior males bow to the ultra element of contentment— satiation. Air of exp ectancy engulfs Senior Beth Bilisoly. 13 Seniors not only capitalized on the art of receiving but also pro- jected the art of giving during Se- nior Week, a weekset aside in May granting them special privileges. Appreciation for the right to drop the dress code and for a delightful fellowship picnic on the school grounds was reciprocated by grass cutting and broom sweeping the parking lot and surrounding area. In regimented style, Seniors armed with brooms sweep the student parking lot clean.
