For the first time girls enrolled in an agricultural course, horticulture. In addition, a new course, Elec¬ tricity and Electronics, enhanced the vocational training program. Many opportunities for per¬ formance were afforded by the band and chorus programs. Stu¬ dents gained a knowledge of music¬ al history as they molded their special talents. It was necessary to have two classes for choral training, because of increased interest in this phase of the musical program.
