On Sunday afternoon, May 26, 1968, Dr. Albert G. Edwards, pastor of Raleigh’s First Presbyterian C hurch, delivered the Baccalaureate Sermon to the 1968 Graduating Class. Preceding the message, the Vocal Ensemble sang “I’ll Walk With God” and “The Halls of Ivy.” The Honorable Robert B. Morgan, North Carolina State Senator, spoke to the Seniors at their Graduation Exercises on Friday evening, May 31. Special music was rendered by the Whitley Chorus under the direction of Mr. Charles Burt. After presentation of the Senior Class by Mr. Stanley Dail, Mr. J.T. Knott, Jr., Advisory Council Chairman, presented diplomas to the graduates. determined Seniors receive diplomas. Dr. Albert G. Edwards in¬ quires, “Are you unsatisfied, satisfied or dissatisfied?” The Honorable Robert Morgan urges Seniors to reach beyond as they accept life’s challenges.
