PEP CLUB The pep club, The Spirit Rousers, was or- ganized by the cheerleaders for the purpose of creat- ing more spirit in the student body. Officers for the year were: President, Donna Horakg Vice - President, Diane Wilsong Secretary- Treasurer, Ann Valeriusp and Correspondence Secre- tary, Susan Greene. The money-raising project for the year was a skating party. Half of the money was turned over to the cheerleaders. A skit was presented to the student body at the pep meeting for the last Ankeny basketball game. In response to our correspondence secretary's request concerning information covering pep club activities, we received many letters from Des Moines High Schools. We hope that in the future we may have an even more successful pep club program.
