The Marching Band performed during the half time.of each of the home football games this year, presenting various forms of entertain- ment and also led the Homecoming Parade. - A Pep Band was formed from the Marching Band and Concert ' f 9 Band and played at all games and other school functions. rf-1.-1 ' Rehearsals for the Marching Band wereheld at 7:45 each morn- ing at the football field. I The Concert Band presented three Concerts and took part in the l I l Christmas Program. l -:i 0 Eleven Ensembles and ten Solos were entered in the State Small 3 I Group contest which was held at Dallas Center. The following ratings N I were received -- four I's, and eight H's. 0 K ' ' f The Concert Band also entered Large Group Contest which was held at Prairie City May 2.
