Volleyball was another activity in theintrarnural program for boys. Eight teams slammed their way throuyi the schedule with the team of Mike Weak- ley, Gary Willett, Harlan Seagren, J' ack Gunion, Alan Givant, Stan Boley, and Jim May serving as champs for 1958-1959. Table tennis was added this year to the intra- mural programs. Tournaments were held in singles, both boys and girls, doubles, both boys and girls, and mixed doubles. The Boys' Intramural basketball numbered eight teams this year. Competition was hot and heavy all year with the team of FredRobinson: Harold Garwood, Joe Newbrough, .Tim Samuels, Danny Lay, ,Tim May, shooting through the pack to become the champs for 1958-1959. The terrific serving and spiking of C arolDunn's team -- Sharon Wilhelm, Judy Phelps, Susan Greene, Frances Byrnes, Diane Wilson, Lynn Garvin, Linda Jones, and Sharon Knight, brought them the cham- pionship for 1958-1959. nliiwilw' 'i 5
