She might be typing, helping someone reclaim some lost items, answering questions put to her by students, conferring with Mr. Rilling, or breaking in a new student assistant. Miss Slemmer's official jobs are secretary to the superintendent, and Assistant Secretary- Treasurer of the local school board. As we Seniors have asked our share of questions, lost at least the usual number of items, and caused our share of trouble for Miss Slemmer, we do hereby will her all the time we have wasted in study halls since we were Freshmen.
