So willing to help us through the dark, So willing to join us in our larks. 'l'here's Daddy Houpt with his watchful eye, A look from him will make you cry. llis manner is kind and yet 'tis stern, lfor he's made up his mind that you must learn. Miss Larcomb teaches us how to talk right, And she has to work with all her might. liut she's well pleased with the whole class And says she's certain we all will pass. Miss Howey's our teachers in Lit. and French, And she always has someone on the Bench For we don't recite one-half the time, And that, she says, is an Absolute Crime. ln Mathematics we rank first in line, 'Cause lWr. Holland keeps us working all the time. First one thing and then another, And doesn't want us even to help a brother! Miss Stearns is always on the job, lCspecially now since she has her new bob, She teaches us Latin, and that isn't all, VVe eagerly look for her every fall. lVe can use a typewriter, any kind, any place, And l know we can beat in any race. For Miss Golling keeps us always in trim And she's willing to help us wherever she kinl Now Mr. Hoffman is tall and rather thin, He lets us talk and sometimes grin. As a coach and teacher he can't be beat, Anil neither can the Stephens he drives on the street. Now in the junior High we study hard, You can tell that if you look at our card. From room to room we pass along, Happy and gay and full of song. Our teachers there, we have but three, But oh, how mighty these few do be. Miss Schoenberger, lylittermaier, and Slemmer. too, All ready to help, so staunch, so true. Someone always ready to do what he can ls our lwr. Killing, a wonderful man. Always a smile to cheer us along To do what is right and never go wrong.
