MOSER STANLEY M KURTZ e Assistant Supervising Prrncrpal SS PAYL1 N High School Principal MARK H. LAYSER To the First Graduating Class of Upper Perkiomen High The educational thinking and planning of our community took an important step forward when Upper Perkiornen High was created by the jointure of seven local school districts. Fifty years ago several of these sarne districts were thinking and planning about the advisability of offering some high school education to the young people of the communities. For those who attended public high schools for the first time new educational doors were opened. To you who are the first graduates of Upper Perkiornen High came the same privileges and opportunities of helping to lay the foundations for a new and better educational era for the Upper Perkiomen May your class in years to come reminisce with increased pride about the first year of Upper Perkiornen High.
