ur Junior year was really busy. We started by ordering our rings. Then we began Thinking about our Junior Prom. After much deliberation, we decided upon Hanna No Matsuri as the name. Then we started working on the decora- tions for our Japanese theme. No Senior will forget mak- ing those pink cherry blossoms. Suddenly, while we were in the midst of getting ready for the Prom, our rings arrived. We were so thrilled with them that we showed them to everyone. But we still had to get ready for May l8th and the Prom. And some of us were quite busy that day, to say the least, for that was also the day of the College Board examinations. Soon after that came the end of the school year, and we began to realize that we had only one year left. inally, it was T957 and we had reached that long-awaited Senior Year ! Some of us were a little bit awed at being Seniors, but after the first few weeks of school, we settled down to our final and most exciting year at Upper Dublin. And what a year it was to be! The yearbook staff began work on the annual, The Mundockian, early, meeting the first, and remaining, deadlines successfully. The Senior Class Play, Dangerous Dan McGrew, under the capable direction of Mr. Robert B. Wert, came and went, and before we knew it, our Christmas dance, Winter Wonderland, had passed. In February, we ordered our graduation announcements. We knew that we had to make the most of the rest of the year, for we realized how little time we had left at Upper Dublin. 1 lthough at this time we are all anxious to start on our separate ways of life, we will be sorry to leave Upper Dub- lin, for even though it has offered us some sad times, it has also given us some of our best friends, and best times and experiences that we have had or will ever hope to have. e are all indebted to Mrs. Margaret Davis and Mr. Frank Gilronan, our class advisors, who have been instrumental to our wonderful high school career. Also we wish to give our sincere thanks to Dr. W. W. Eshelman, Mr. Norman L. Jones, Mr. William E. Keim, Mr. Paul D. Duelfer, and the faculty for all the help they have given us throughout years at Upper Dublin. our happy

The reasons for this are many. Having the privilege to be the leader of a group with so much drive, ambition, and enthusiasm has indeed been an honor. I have appreciated especially the Teamwork of our class as exemplified by my co-workers and class officers: Ken Comly, Vice President, Pat Read, Secretary, and Myles Anderson, Treasurer. We are indebted to our advisors, Mrs. Davis and Mr. Gilronan, who made it possible for our class to have such a successful year. I know that the knowledge gained in the classroom, the sportsman- ship shown on the athletic fields, and the understanding guidance given by the faculty will be among our most valuable assets in the years to come. Now, at the close of the year, l would like to wish all the members of the Senior Class much happiness in the future.
