The Cardinal five had an C8-2j league record and an overall Q13-71 record. The team under Coach P. M. jones finished second in the Tri-High County Conference for the second straight year. In the annual Christmas tournament held at Springfield High School the Cardinals won second place. Again the Redbirds are in the Class B state tournamentg their first opponent being Owen J. Roberts. We can certainly be proud of the team and Mr. Jones for their accomplishments. VARSITY AND j.V.
